Journal of Korean Biological Nursing Science (JKBNS) is the official journal of the Korean Society of Biological Nursing Science and the abbreviated title is "J Korean Biol Nurs Sci". It was launched in 1999. It is published quarterly in February, May, August, and November with articles in Korean with English abstracts or in English.
JKBNS is a peer-reviewed journal that seeks to promote the development and dissemination of nursing knowledge, particularly concentrated on the theory, practice, and education in the biological nursing disciplines. The types of manuscripts include original articles, review articles, and articles invited by the Editorial Board.
All articles in this journal are indexed in the Korea Citation Index (KCI), KoreaMed database, EBSCO Discovery Service Index, Academic Search Ultimate (ASU) database and Google scholar.
Authors state that the protocol for the research project has been approved by a suitably constituted Ethics Committee of the institution within which the work was undertaken and that it conforms to the provisions of the Declaration of Helsinki. On occasion, the Editor-in-Chief may request a copy of the approved IRB application from the author. Clinical studies that do not meet the Declaration of Helsinki will not be considered for publication. Animal research studies must state that the work was performed according to National or Institutional Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, and the ethical treatment of all experimental animals must be observed. All investigations on human subjects must include a statement that the subject gave informed consent and patient anonymity should be preserved. Manuscripts that have been already published elsewhere or in this journal should not be published. Authors should declare any financial support or relationships that may pose conflict of interest.
